The First Look – Hess Wedding – 09.07.13

AED Couple : Mike & April Hess
Married On : September 7th, 2013
Ceremony & Reception Venue : Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame (Colorado Springs, CO)

What We’ll Never Forget :
>Mike & April were so amazing to work with. I could truly tell that they appreciated my help, ideas and advice throughout the process and it was great getting to know them!
>The Decor Design was so much fun for this wedding. The couple had access to a great inventory of decor, including wine barrels, a claw foot bath tub, window frames, vintage furniture and more. We had so much fun putting everything together to create the perfect ambiance.
>My team worked really hard to set-up (and tear down), but when everything was done – it was absolutely fabulous!!
>The open, deep, emotional love was unforgettable – not only between Mike & April, but with their wedding guests as well.
>I can’t go without mentioning the love that Mike & April share – WOW!! Seeing them together, how they look at each other, how they act together – and then witnessing the toast that Mike gave to his new wife during the reception was so incredibly touching.
>The first look, when Mike saw April for the first time – priceless! Then, when he saw her walking down the aisle toward him – even better!
>Mike & April were so appreciative of everyone, from their family and friends, to each vendor, to AED – they really made sure that everyone knew how important they are to them.
>April – stunning!

Thank you so much to the talented Elizabeth Ann Photography for sharing these incredible pictures with us. They are so soft and so, so, so gorgeous and we really just can’t get enough of them!

104Vintage bikes were the perfect sign holders to help direct guests to the
ceremony, cocktail hour and reception.

75117Gold, tin cans with holes in them hung from the tree branches with candles
to light the way as it got dark outside.

2The stunning wedding party – LOVE the colors!

161159Even better!

144Guests signed a palette as the guest book.

175They didn’t even make it back down the aisle before
Mike dipped his new wife for a kiss.

108Each table was different, with a variety of bottles, glasses and vases filled with flowers, along with candles, lanterns and thank you cards to each guest.

5Congratulations to Mike & April on your happily ever after!

Words from our client :I have been to and in many weddings and once I started planning my own I quickly realized all of the background logistics that go into planning the big day. Working with Sarah put all my wedding planning stresses and worries at ease. She is incredibly organized and thinks of every possible detail that needs to be planned out (she even had back-up plans). I loved collaborating, working, and planning with her up to the day of our wedding. She helped keep all of our to-dos on a manageable timeline to ensure everything we wanted was going to happen. Though the best part was being able to just show up on our wedding day, Sarah not only put all of the details and plans in place but went above and beyond; not I, the bridal party, nor our families had to worry about a thing on our special day. We were truly able to relish and enjoy every moment we had which is exactly what you and those you love should do on your wedding day! Everything, I mean everything, especially us, was taken care of! Hiring Sarah was the best investment we made for our wedding and it allowed us to not only have the wedding of our dreams, but we had no stress, and enjoyed every part of it and we all will have everlasting good memories to prove it!!!” ~April (Bride)
