Love & Romance – Stewart Wedding – 08.19.12

Not only was the venue beautiful, the bride absolutely stunning and the weather perfect, but the obvious romance and love shared between this couple made the day a real dream come true.

Katie and Ian’s unique style and decorations accented the already gorgeous Crooked Willow Farms. The couple brought in their own furniture to ‘sprinkle’ around the cocktail and reception area, complete with a reserved rocking chair for Katie’s grandmother right by the dance floor. They invited their guests to walk through a door adorned with flowers and greenery to find their seat at the ceremony and named the dinner tables after different coffee types because after all, they did meet at a coffee shop. At the end of the night, the walkway was lined with lanterns to help light the way for the guests to see Katie and Ian off, as they ran through a shower of bird seed to the decorated vintage truck they ‘escaped’ in.

The couple’s wedding day could be described as magical with fresh flowers blossoming, the sky a perfect shade of blue, smiles shining brightly on everyone’s face and a couple who wasn’t shy about their love for each other.

Congratulations Ian and Katie on your happily ever after!

And Krista, you did it again – beautiful pictures! A huge thanks to Artessa Photography for sharing these memories. Click here to check out more pictures from this wedding.

Picture Perfect

Katie’s Dad drove her in this truck to the aisle at the beginning of the ceremony, Then, Katie & Ian used it as their getaway vehicle at the end of the evening. So fun!

Table names were held in place with wine corks tied together.

Words from our client :I enjoyed having a day-of coordinator do all the running around for me. She made sure EVERYTHING and eveyone was where they needed to be. I don’t know how brides would ever consider not having a coordinator. Sarah is organized, kind and patient. I felt like she cared about every detail I wanted to obtain. I appreciate that she helped me trouble-shoot and find solutions for our wedding day. Sarah and her team are very professional and hard working. Thank you Ansley Event Design! ” ~Katie (Bride)

You were worth your weight in gold. Jeff and I were able to enjoy and relax because you were on top of every detail. Thank you for being so dependable. It was truly a delight to work with you. I will recommend you with the utmost confidence.” ~Julie (Mother-of-the-Bride)

Adoring Guests – Petersen Wedding – 06.16.12

After all of the details were exchanged between AED, the bride – Kelly, and her mother – Paula at the initial day-of coordination meeting, a sigh of relief escaped both of their mouths as huge hugs were exchanged.

And, on their wedding day, Kelly was ready to go with the flow, Leif was cool and calm, and all of their guests (a lot of whom traveled to Colorado from Wyoming) couldn’t wait to see 2 people they all loved exchange vows on their perfect wedding day at Boettcher Mansion.

Once the ceremony concluded, the reception began – and the celebration truly unfolded. As I stood among Kelly and Leif’s friends, all gathered around to watch them dance their first dance, I knew that the love Kelly and Leif shared was not the only love in the room, but that their guests absolutely adored them.

Congratulations Leif and Kelly on your happily ever after!

Words from our client : “The only reason I had fun was because of you!!  I cannot thank you enough for your services and everything you did to help the day go so smoothly, whew! I will recommend you to everyone I know and meet.” ~Kelly (Bride)

“My daughter thought I was wasting money on an event planner until she met Sarah. After that initial meeting, she not only gave Sarah a big hug, but told me it was the smartest thing I had done. Sarah made us realize all of the details that allow the wedding to run smoothly and we did not have to worry – she would do it all, and she did. We all ended up relaxing and enjoying the wedding. Well worth it!” ~Paula (Mother-of-the-Bride)

True Love – Ellis Wedding – 05.19.12

Working with Natalie and Craig was so much fun! From the minute I first sat down with them, I knew they had to be Ansley Event Design clients!

For their wedding, on May 19th, 2012, AED did day-of coordination. Natalie worked very hard to make sure all of the details were perfectly in place and she was ready to hand everything over with confidence to AED when the time came.

Calm and cool would be the perfect description for this bride on the day of her wedding, oh, and I can’t forget – absolutely gorgeous!! It was obvious that Natalie trusted us with everything, and of course we love that. The groom, Craig, was all smiles from the minute he got to the church to….well, I don’t think he’s stopped smiling yet.

True love is evident with this couple. Craig was so excited to marry his best friend, and Natalie had/has no doubt that Craig is her soul mate. It was great working with a couple who obviously has so much respect for each other. And, the fact that they couldn’t stop looking into each others’ eyes and sharing kisses all day and night proved that they were excited to be newly weds.

Congratulations Natalie and Craig on your happily ever after!

Words from our client : “Working with Ansley Event Design made my wedding much less stressful. I was willing to do a lot of the work myself but I needed someone to help me with the details I wasn’t sure of. I didn’t think a coordinator was in my budget until I talked with Sarah and we worked out a system that I could work into my budget. I would recommend Sarah Ansley to anyone and was very glad, relieved and thankful Sarah was involved in my wedding.” ~Natalie (Bride)
